Beautiful World

Sunday, February 24, 2013 0 Comments

" It rained heavily...it's just out of my expectation. I hoped rain will stop soon because I had  wonderful plan this Sunday morning..."

Yes, it's kind of enlightment! haha, not really...just a strong willing to do swimming in Sunday morning.
At Saturday night, I had a promise to myself, "I must start swimming again!".

Actually, my best friends asked to go swimming with them in Jakarta, but I thought this weekend, I just want to stay at home, at Bogor. So, I went to swim by myself. It's been so long that I haven't swam anymore....missing it a lot.

Fortunatelly, the rain stopped on time. I felt so glad. I went to the swimming pool of Braja Mustika Hotel, Bogor, happily. I didn't remember when exactly the last time I went there. That time, my friends at office and their little kids asked me to swim with them there. That's the first time I knew this place.

Do you know why I chose to swim to this place today? because I needed real relaxation and this swimming pool is the perfect place for me. It's not too crowded here, just one or two families wiht little kids. So, I felt like at my private pool. Also, the view...around the pool and the hotel is so beautiful! it's so natural and green! Let me describe it....

It's downside part land of the hotel area....the water of the pool is so blue.

I might see many trees and shrubs around the pool.
There's one three that really catched my eyes.
It's like an older trees than others.
It just like that the trees has soul that powerfully influences all around it.
It like....the new wolrd is created.
I could see the small leaves was falling down from the branches....many, altogether.
Maybe Kersen/Talok/Muntingia calibura tree, which is smaller than that tree, had the same thought like me, or maybe knows that tree better because the Kersen tree stands infront of the old tree everyday, 24 hours.

The small birds had no hesitation to drop by to each branch of that old tree....singing or getting along with another small bird.

Faraway behind the the tree...I could see the small waterfall. A kind of awesome vertical movement in that green land.

Oh....I saw some butterflies also....the yellow, brown, and white. They was dancing in the air peacefully.
When I was swimming with backstroke wimming style, I could see the sky a bit grey mix with white and light blue. The sun appeared so shy..halfly hiding behind the clouds

Oh wow! experiencing all this things was like living in a beautiful world.
Georgeous!
The most important one is....I felt sexier and five years younger after swimming,hahaha....
What a beautiful world, indeed :)

Blue Paradise: Karimunjawa

Sunday, April 08, 2012 0 Comments

It’s about ocean, sand, islands. It’s all mixed together with in the frame of beauty.

It’s one of unforgetable time for me. It was 2 years ago. It’s a holiday to islands called Karimunjawa. These islands are situated on Java Ocean, at the north of Jepara, a town in Central Java, Indonesia. There are 27 islands. 5 of them had people who live in.

I went to Karimunjawa Islands with 5 best friends of mine. Friend of mine already had a man to arrange our trip. The first thing I see was the harbour of  Jepara, a town in north of Central Java, where I took the ship to karimunjawa Islands.

After arriving there, we were picked up by a car. Then I and friends had lunch and drink in one of villager’s house. We stayed there for 3 nights.

Everyday, we went to the ocean by a small boat. There were some people in a group who also joined the trip and two or three villagers who guided us. Those villagers were really good at diving. It was amazed us that they could dive without any particular things. Even, one of them show me a google he always wear when diving….and it was made of wood and glasses by his own hands. So cool!

We did snorkeling for hours all day long. We could see the terumbu karang in the depth of the ocean. So amazing!
We also did Island Hoping. It means we went from island to another island by boat, then stayed few moments at each island. We visited Menjangan Besar, Menjangan Kecil , Pulau Kecil , Pulau Tengah , Gosong Seloka , Gleyang , Cemara Besar , Cemara Kecil. At one island of them, our guide was letting us watch them to grill the fish with the traditional way, on fire of burned woods. Some of fishes were red and green. After that, we had lunch with rice and grilled fish. Yummy!

Other activity that we did there was swimming with sharks. At the beginning, it’s a bit scary for me but I challenged myself to do that and I did it! Yippie! Although it’s just happened for few moments, I felt glad that they didn’t bite me.

Anyway, as I remember, I saw some beautiful animals here that I used to see in magazine of TV. I really saw Nemo infront of me. We catched it, put it in a plastic glass, then let it go. Of course, I saw many colourful fishes when I was snorkeling. Another unique fish that I saw was ikan buntal. On the white sand of the beach, I found many houses of dead animal (I think they were kind of siput), It had nice flowery shape that made me imagine to make necklace or earings.

When we were not at the sea, we were hanging around to the neighborhood of the village. There is small field as the centre of the village. This is used as public open space. In the afternoon, they were few warungs of villagers that sold food and drink, in example: bakso, siomay, gorengan, tea, coffee. Villagers and guesses enjoyed their relaxing time there.

In one morning, we went walking to dermaga to see sunrise then watching the activities of fishermen who just arrived and brought the fish out of the ships. We also watched the interactions between fish sellers with the customers at harbour. In a field near the harbour, we saw some people dried the fish under the sun.

Anyway, do u know what we ate everyday? Fishes as the main menu. Friends found it so boring to have fish everyday. Some of them said they missed other food, in example fried chicken, a lot.

Well, it’s time for me to leave on the fourth day. That day, we were awaked in hurry in the morning because we had to catch the ship to go back to Jepara on time. Good bye, Karimunjawa…keep your natural beauty completely and stay charming with the friendly touch of people there…what a sweet memory!

Go Abroad: I Love Berlin (2)

Monday, August 01, 2011 0 Comments

Since long time ago, I have a dream to travel around the world. Well, maybe it's too much but at least, I've been abroad now, hehe.

Berlin is the first city in Europe that I visited. I'm lucky one because parents asked me to go with them visiting my sister. My parents were there for 5 weeks but I and my sister were there for only 2 weeks.

I found many interesting and wonderful things when I was staying in Berlin. I found Berlin as clean city with good sistematic transportation. I enjoyed going to one spot to another spot with U-Bahnhof, S-Bahnhof, tramp, or bus (sometimes) as public transportation. It's so different from Indonesia. I almost haven't found those public transportation was so full with persons inside, hehe. I saw many great buildings here, public facilities, signages, and street furnitures in all streets. I experienced to walk a lot among people in fast way. I wasn't used to, but I tried to enjoy it.

I visited some places here for two weeks:

15 May 2011: Bradenburger Tor, Reichstag, World Clock, East Side Gallery, & Potsdamer  Plat
Left to right: Bradenburger Tor, Reichstag

Left to Right: World Clock, East Side Gallery

Let to Right: Potsdamer  Plat

21 May 2011: Mama Yes, Prenzlauerberg

 Rice Queen Restaurant

Rice Queen Restaurant (find delicious Indonesian food here! hehe)

Touring on Spree River by Boat

Beautiful Spree River!

22 May 2011: Luisenplatz, Park Sanssouci, historische Mühle, Hollandische Viertel, Potsdam
Left to Right: Welcome Gate in Potsdam, Park Sanssouci (Postdam)

Hollandische Viertel (Potsdam)

Well, although I enjoyed being in Berlin, the adaptation needed to the weather. It's cold there. Even when the sunshined, we could feel the cool wind touched our skin. Our skin became dry! This condition made my parents could stand to say "We wanna go home!",hehehe. Next time, we need to bring something i.e. a kind of cosmetique for skin, especially for face, that could solve our dry skin.

For all those things, the most special thing is that I finally met my love face to face here. Really miss that moment, hope we meet soon...love and miss him.

Fantastic journey! thanx to my family :)
So, I'm looking forward to going abroad next time in my future. It's gonna be more amazing journey :).

    Turkish and Dutch

    Monday, November 15, 2010 0 Comments
It's about my weekend two weeks ago.
It's Jakarta again! hahaha...but this time, I did plan my weekend in Jakarta because I wanted to watch some movies on Eurpean One Screen (EOS)

    What is Europe On Screen?
I think it's one Europe event in Indonesia of film screenings and fringe events.
I was interested in watching the movies. Before, I had read the schedules so I knew what were all the movies that I could watch on Sunday, September 7th, 2010. I and my friend chose a Turkey movie which would be played in Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto 117, Menteng, Jakarta. This is the movie:

It's a story about the  love between a woman and a deaf man. Actually, it's an interesting story, but unfortunately, there's a problem technically, so there's no English subtitles on the screen. That made the moviegoer felt dissapointed and left the room. I and my friend also felt dissapointed but we chose to stay although we actually didn't understand the Turkish in the movie...we were just guessing what was happened in the movie from the body language, hehehe.

After the movie was ended, I and my friend went to pray Dhuhur in Masjid Sunda Kelapa. It's a big masjid and it's the first time for me to go to this masjid.

Next, we decided to watch another movie from Netherland which was also played in Istituto Italiano di Cultura. This is the movie :

This is a documentary movie. The director, John Appel, was telling us about his father who was a successful gambler. I found it as an interesting movie. I tried to listen carefully to the Dutch they spoke in the movie but for me, it was a difficult language. Well, I need to have a strong will to learn this language and I know I can do this, hehehe.

well, what's my plan next week?just wait :)

    My Weekend in Jakarta

    Sunday, October 31, 2010 0 Comments
Well, I should say that this was actually not my plan to spend my weekend in Jakarta. Tidung Island, one of Island in Seribu Island, was actually the plan. I and two of my friends decided not to go to Tidung because of the bad weather...but some of my friends were still go there. They're lucky, I think. :p

Instead of going to Tidung, my friend's aunt ask me to go with her and her husband to a market near their house. It's called Muara Karang Market. I felt so amazed to see this market. Many Chinese here. I think, it's one of 'Pecinan'.

In Saturday afternoon, I and my friends was so confused to find good place to go for hanging out in Jakarta. Then one of my friend phoned her boyfriend. Fortunately, her boyfriend had an idea...we were going to go to Taman Ismail Marzuki to watch the show in Planetarium and a monologue "Kucing" by Butet Kertaradjasa. :)

    Welcome to The Palace ;)

    June 18th, 2010

Langkah-langkah kaki bergegas memasuki halaman istana. Uhui! kami melenggang memasuki halaman istana....

    ..to be continued...
