Bunga yang Sangat Cantik

Thursday, May 25, 2017 0 Comments

Kekasih...
Bunga yang Sangat Cantik...

Stay calm, stay strong
Nothing is wrong
Keep shining
I like it when you are smiling

Kekasih, Bunga yang Sangat Cantik...
This darkness is not forever
I'm your lover
I'll stay by your side
I will not hide

Kekasih, Bunga yang Sangat Cantik,
I miss to see your beautiful eyes staring at me
which hypnotized me
My legs were shaking
and my heart was beating

Kekasih, Bunga yang Sangat Cantik...
This is our chance to share happiness
Let's build our home with our kids

Let's celebrate our love....

Hugs,
Your Prince

Part 2: Walk for Hope

December 7th, 2014

After participating in Books for The Blind, I joined Walk for Hope.
It was another voluntary activity held by FENCY COMMUNITY (Fellowship of Netra Community) to celebrate International Volunteer Day on December 5th each year.
The volunteers and blind people were walking together from Bundaran Hotel Indonesia/Bundaran HI (Hotel Indonesia Roundabout) to Monumen Nasional/Monas (National Monument)

I worn blind fold as pretendind to be blind and was walking behind Mr. Wawan, a blind man. Walking with his stick, Mr. Wawan became a guide for me. Meanwhile, another volunteer was walking at the righ side of Mr. Wawan by holding his hand. For the first time, it was kind of weird for me and I couldn't stand to wear the blind fold and put it off for a while...I felt a bit fear hehe, but after some time, I was used to walk in that condition.

Arriving in the finish line, we got goodie bag, took rest and were having our brunch, white rice+fried chicken.

Then, we continued walking to go inside Monas. I met another volunteer, Novi (whom I had ever met in start line) with two blind couple, Mr. Jaja and his 41 years old wife.
In the museum area, all the participants were sitting on the floor to take another rest. We might choose to go up to top of Monas (but we had to wait in long queue) or to go home. Mr. Jaja and his wife chose to go home. So did I. Then, I accompanied them to go outside Monas, holding hands ind hands, untill I met other volunteer girls who helped me to guide Mr. Jaja, while I guided his wife.

This was my first time voluntary activity.
My friend sent me message about this activity called: Books for The Blind
Then, there we were!... re-typing some texts of the books for the blind people. The result would be converted into braille using a particular software. Every volunteer hoped to type four pages in an hour. Four pages meant that the volunteer donating 2.5 Euro for the blind people (netra community).
It was held by L'OCCITANE, DELL, and FENCY COMMUNITY (Fellowship of Netra Community) at Kota Kasablanka, a mall in Jakarta.

Let Me Stay

Thursday, September 04, 2014 0 Comments
Dear W,

It has been almost 3 months since you decided not to talk to me properly like we used to do.
It's not easy for me to bring you everyday in my mind, especially in my heart, still....
I don't understand why this connection is so strong.
I know that you said it's just because I am still keeping hope.
I know I do though I don't want to and you urge me to move on, like you are doing now with her.
It's just naturally happened...or it's also because you still thinking of me a bit silently....Only God knows and decide what would happen to us.
I know that I have my own control but my heart just goes on you.

W, the best thing I do now is I am trying all I can to give my life in God's willing. God knows the best for us.
Let this matter go, forget, non-attached, and give it to God.

W, if you are my destiny, I pray everyday that you'll be back to me. If not, hope God will turn this feeling off, gives me sincere heart, strong soul, and then replace you with somebody who is much better than you.
Well, hope you are the one.

W, come back and let me stay.....
Knuffel voor G.

A Woman and Cats

Tuesday, May 21, 2013 1 Comments
She sat down there, in a sidewalk of the neighborhood. She stared kindly toward. Infront of her, there was a bunch of rice and a piece of chicken on a small sheet of newspaper. A cute cat was also there, eating the food. When I came closer, cat was a bit scared then slowly was walking backward then hide.
After a short greeting, I asked her, " I see you every morning, Mam...do you walk every morning to feed the street cats in some corners of this neighborhood?". She answered me, "Yes, I do."

Then that simple old woman with veil stood up to continue the walk. I walked also beside her. I asked her personal life. Where she came from, where she was born, how old she is, and many else. We walked across and went into one of the housing complex in the neighborhood, my housing complex. In the entrance gate, she and I welcomed by a cute small cat that she called "Kancil". "This cat belongs to the security guards of this complex. Come here, Kancil", she said with a generous happy gesture. She walked forward to one corner of the complex, followed by Kancil and oooh, there was another bigger cat welcomed her, the white-orange female cat. Then they followed the old woman. I said, "I go with you, Mam...I want to see you feed the cats". She replied, "Yes, sure, you may".

While she was going to stop and to seat in a corner, a female cat came running fast toward us. So now, there were two cats infront of her, eating rice mixed with chicken broth, and also was one next to her, which was given a small chicken's head by her. Sometimes, those cat was rubbing their head to her legs. "I love cats, that's why I do this ever morning. I also have a cat at my small rental house", she said. After some minutes with her, I decided to say farewell to her to go home. May we meet another time, Mam. May God always gives you good health, prosperous life, and many magical things.

Everyone creates many way to be happy, and sometimes it's simply done. I think that sincere old woman creates her own happiness by that way, feeding other God's creatures that she loves, the cats. That sunny morning, I saw love, sincerity, and simplicity of life in a face of an old woman in this hectic modern world.

Beautiful World

Sunday, February 24, 2013 0 Comments

" It rained heavily...it's just out of my expectation. I hoped rain will stop soon because I had  wonderful plan this Sunday morning..."

Yes, it's kind of enlightment! haha, not really...just a strong willing to do swimming in Sunday morning.
At Saturday night, I had a promise to myself, "I must start swimming again!".

Actually, my best friends asked to go swimming with them in Jakarta, but I thought this weekend, I just want to stay at home, at Bogor. So, I went to swim by myself. It's been so long that I haven't swam anymore....missing it a lot.

Fortunatelly, the rain stopped on time. I felt so glad. I went to the swimming pool of Braja Mustika Hotel, Bogor, happily. I didn't remember when exactly the last time I went there. That time, my friends at office and their little kids asked me to swim with them there. That's the first time I knew this place.

Do you know why I chose to swim to this place today? because I needed real relaxation and this swimming pool is the perfect place for me. It's not too crowded here, just one or two families wiht little kids. So, I felt like at my private pool. Also, the view...around the pool and the hotel is so beautiful! it's so natural and green! Let me describe it....

It's downside part land of the hotel area....the water of the pool is so blue.

I might see many trees and shrubs around the pool.
There's one three that really catched my eyes.
It's like an older trees than others.
It just like that the trees has soul that powerfully influences all around it.
It like....the new wolrd is created.
I could see the small leaves was falling down from the branches....many, altogether.
Maybe Kersen/Talok/Muntingia calibura tree, which is smaller than that tree, had the same thought like me, or maybe knows that tree better because the Kersen tree stands infront of the old tree everyday, 24 hours.

The small birds had no hesitation to drop by to each branch of that old tree....singing or getting along with another small bird.

Faraway behind the the tree...I could see the small waterfall. A kind of awesome vertical movement in that green land.

Oh....I saw some butterflies also....the yellow, brown, and white. They was dancing in the air peacefully.
When I was swimming with backstroke wimming style, I could see the sky a bit grey mix with white and light blue. The sun appeared so shy..halfly hiding behind the clouds

Oh wow! experiencing all this things was like living in a beautiful world.
Georgeous!
The most important one is....I felt sexier and five years younger after swimming,hahaha....
What a beautiful world, indeed :)

New Chapter

Friday, January 04, 2013 0 Comments

It’s 2013 now!
It means a new chapter will be read in my life. I will do my best to do my role that God gives to me in my life story,. I believe, as I take my best efforts, something wonderful is waiting there in my future.

New chapter started with 5 days of holidays. I didn’t go to any special place to spend my holidays.

First day, I bought books. One of them is a book called “Habibie & Ainun”. I spent some of my time to read this book. It’s a  kind of autobiography with history content of Mr. Habibie, a well-known man, once became a president in Indonesia, who is genius man in transportation engineering, especially of aeroplane. He wrote this book to heal himself from the deep grief after his wife was passed away. They have loved each other purely, truly, and eternally. They grew together as good partners in a family with their children. Mr. Habibie wrote about his love life and also his career life which empazhised the role of Mrs. Ainun as his wife. From This book, I know and believe that God creates partner of life, our real soulmates to grow together without any drama, just a sincere strength to support each other. Hope God gives me a chance to experience this kind of love one day.

In the evening of December 31st, 2012, I joined a small gathering in Botanical Garden, Bogor to welcome 2013. A friend who works there asked me to join it with her. I was lucky. There were some food, namely sate ayam, sate kambing, sate udang (grilled shrimp)  and some snacks, also beverages, namely mineral water, soda drinks. While enjoying all the food, people might sing in karaoke. Nice, though the karaoke CD’s were limited and some songs in CD’s were not in prima condition, haha. The gathering was closed with the fireworks and thrompet at 00.00 am.

A day before I was back to work, on January 2nd, 2012, I had my massage at home by a 65 years old woman, called Mrs. Ana. Nice massage, I enjoyed it a lot.
Yesterday, on January 4th, 2012, my friend gave me a friendship gift. It’s a blouse with etcnic accent, what kind of her! Like the blouse, hehe.

So, it was good beginning of my 2013 chapter. I can’t wait for amazing and wonderful surprise from Allah for the next days of 2013. Thanx God for everything

Why am I still alone?

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 0 Comments

Sudirman Station, Jakarta, was not really crowded on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, around 11.30 am. I just arrived then asked some people there  to get a bus, namely Kopaja P19, a public transportation to M.H Tamrin Road. Sarinah Building was the place that I wanted to go to. There would be a free talkshow about an interesting topic: “Why am I still alone?”.

It’s a sensitive issue, isn’t it? Nowadayas, those are many people who have this condition and it often become complicated point when people in ages which commonly are ready to get married but they haven’t got a clue who is the one to grow old together.  So, they take many ways to learn about this condition to prepare themselves to meet the right one soon, InsyaAllah. This talkshow was one of the way.

When I arrived at 14th floor of Sarinah Building, though I was late about 15 minutes, the show hadn’t started yet. A band of young men performed on the stage.
Around 14.00 pm, the talkshow was started by the host, named Andra Donata, a man with glasses, has average tall and bright skin, also humorous. Then, few minutes after the host started the show, the figure of Mr. Indra Noveldy came out to give and to share about the topic. He’s the star of the show.
From Mr. Indra Noveldy, the participants of the talkshow (includes I and two friends of mine) got many new knowledge and advice of  this topic. Let me share it here for all single women and men.

As single persons, do you know what we should do as  efforts to find the right one to grow old together?
-       1.   Write down criterias that we want from the one who will be our soulmate.
Brave to do this first step is a sign we really know that we are precious to be chosen by the best person. We must think the long term -for a lifetime- criterias, as we want to marry someone for a lifetime. Don’t put some criterias that can be expired in short time. The short term criterias are usually about stuffs of phisycs as main priorities.
-       2.  Bibit bebet bobot
It’s about the background of someone,in example the family of someone that can create   someone with his/her quality.
-       3.  Prevention is better than cure.
It means that single person must quite carefully choose the right one. An interview methode  can be done as a way to select the right one. To get ‘bitter’  now is better than later.
-       4.   Get yourself upgraded.
A single person must know how to make himself/herself better for every single day and it’s a lifetime process.
-        5.  Make ourselves worth to be chosen.
A single person must know how to improve his/her quality so he/she is worth to be chosen by a good woman/man.
-        6.  In every process, don’t forget to ask Allah to get involved.
The last thing but the most important one, single persons must realize that they are just humanbeing so they must sincerely ask Allah who has power and decision upon us.

In addition, there are some important notes:
  •   After writing down the criterias, try to check those points again and ask ourselves: Am I really sure that I can live happily with a person who has those criterias?if not in some points, we can change the criterias. If we are sure, the the next question: do the person who has those criterias has the same feeling with us?
  • Choose someone who wants to grow, who wants to struggle, who wants to do efforts  to be better person!
  • Create yourself as a person who can be really wanted by them, who really search for a lifetime partner in marriage. Let the world see that you are shinning! Write on your mind: everyone who will my soulmate later is the luckiest man/woman.
  • The concept of ‘accept me just the way I am’ can be the virus in marriage life. We should see ourselves the way we are, then try to be better person...don’t ask other to accept us the way we are.
  • Say that it’s not the way to find the right one by searching the best soulmate, partner for marriage, but try to be the best soulmate, life partner in marriage for someone who will be your right one. Improve your qualities to be chosen as the best person!
You may walk alone now on the path. It’s difficult sometimes but keep the faith that in the end of this path, there’s the best person who is waiting to meet you. Allah has great wonderful plan for you. Keep optimist, patient, shining, and tough because in the right time, everything will be beautiful, indeed.
